Our Story  

Eight years ago four friends set out during their summer break after their first year of university to do something positive and enterprising.  There was just one problem!  They had no idea what they were going to do.  But after one long and hot summer day in Toronto gardening for one of their mother's, something was beginning to brew.  It was then that the idea of providing sons for anyone who needed some physical work done around the house was born.  Shortly after came the name Rent-a-Son.  Since that day, Rent-a-Son has grown into a provider of skilled and unskilled labour services to homeowners and businesses in the Greater Toronto Area with anything from moving to gardening help to handy work.  Rent-a-Son has grown its client base by providing reliable, friendly and hard working students on a consistent basis.  The company's mission is to earn the trust and confidence of homeowners across the country.

Our Founder 

Thank you for visiting our website.  Ever since I started Rent-a-Son I have always had one goal in mind; to provide homeowners with the friendliest, most reliable, and positive experience possible.  I am proud to say that we achieve that everyday thanks to our great "sons".  Being the original "son", I learnt a lot about our customers and their needs working on the field.  I observed that three things were extremely important to satisfying our customers which is why I focus our company culture and policy around these three p's; Punctual, Positive, Proactive.  Another thing was really evident to me.  People wanted, more than anything else, to feel comfortable in their own homes.  They obviously wanted quality work as well but finding hard workers isn't always an issue.  Because of my experience we have focused our recruiting and training efforts on things like attitude and gentlemanly conduct.  I think we are one of the only labour related company's that actually train our sons in etiquette.  We also make sure that all "sons" are in full uniform on all jobs.  Please browse our website to learn more about our company and the different ways our skilled and unskilled labour helpers can be used around your home.  I also want to put a guarantee on my claims about our service and our "sons".  If you feel you weren't served with the three p's, call me personally and I will look after your matter.
